Every guy has that one female friend that he crushes on and wishes he would smash if the opportunity ever arose. To me Alice was that girl – a sweet Kale chic from Eldoret that i had known since my college years. She hailed from a wealthy family and loved the good life. We loved teasing each other. The tension kept steaming. It would only be a matter of time before we would tear each others clothes off . So a few months ago, Alice invited me to her birthday party at their family mansion at Elgon View Estate in Eldoret.
I went, mostly because I had nothing better to do on the weekend she was holding her bash. We had fun, I met some of her equally BFFs and even took their numbers. The next day, on a Sunday, almost everyone left and I remained with Alice and her mum in the house. My plan was to travel back to Nairobi with my brother Jemo who was bound to drive back from ocha on Monday morning. Within that short period, Alice’s mother developed a liking for me already and so she insisted that I stay till when I was ready to leave
In fact she even sat alone with me for two hours that Sunday while Alice had gone to shop for a few household items and told me I looked like a good fit for her daughter, Good fit? With the blessings of her mother I decided to persue and see if my shuma would ‘fit’. When Alice returned, we had lunch then spent the rest of the afternoon in the swimming pool, where she taught me a few fish moves.. A swimming champ, she had participated in several swimming competitions before so I wasn’t surprised at how good she was underwater. But hardly did I concentrate.

You lied- Doyin Okupe tells Osinbajo on his statement that GEJ didn't build a single road

Former spokesperson to Former President Jonathan, Doyin Okupe, took to his Facebook page to react to the statement made by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, on Friday Feb 26th at the Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, Lagos, that the Federal government in the last 10 years did not construct a single road (Read story here). This is perhaps one of the most difficult posts I have made to date. Prof Yemi Osinbajo and I have a few things in common. He is a professional in politics like me. He is a practising Christian and a revered Pastor. I am a practising christian and an aspiring Evangelist. We both are alumni of Igbobi college, Yaba. Lagos. His younger brother and mine were classmates at Igbobi and are both pastors of the fountain of life church, Ilupeju, where I became grounded in Christianity under the mentorship of the celebrated and revered man of God, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya. It was in this church and before a body of pastors undergoing a spiritual retreat that the Vice President went and said " that the federal government in the last 10 years have not constructed a single new road " This statement is a lie and an absolute falsehood. Many people have said so. But this is not why I am writing this. My concern is the erroneous assumption that just because the VP is a Christian therefore every christian is APC. This why the VP's statement is unfortunate in that it was a wrong statement made in a wrong place(church) and before a wrong audience. The church must also be sensitive and mindful of the danger in bringing politics into the church. For Prof Osinbajo, if only he remembered the Igbobi college motto " omnes unum in domino" meaning " all are one in the Lord" he would not have committed such a blunder. Our God is God of APC,PDP,Labour etc . Haven said this the VP is someone I hold in very high esteem and he knows this. I am also proud of his role in this administration".

Man who posed as a high school student for 3yrs has been arrested and charged with sexual assault of minors

23 year old Ukrainian man Artur Samarin, who posed as a local Pennsylvania high school student for almost 3 years, has now been charged with statutory sexual assault and corruption of minors.

Police said he was having sexual relationships with female students while claiming to be an 18-year-old senior at the school.

According to police, Samarin had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old student in 2014 while he was 22-years-old.

Investigators said Samarin was also a student at Harrisburg University.

Samarin who went by the name of “Asher Potts”  enrolled in Harrisburg High School as a freshman in 2012 and was a member of the National Honor Society and the school's ROTC and Naval Sea Cadet programs. He was to graduate in June.

Police were alerted to Samarin by a tipster in December who alleged Samarin was an adult living illegally in the U.S. and was having sexual relationships with female students. He was then arrested and charged with false identification. He was previously facing identity theft and tampering with public records charges.

Investigators said Samarin arrived in the U.S. on a 3-month exchange visitor visa and worked for a local company during that time.

Investigators said he used falsified documents to enroll at John Harris High School, including a Social Security card that he received after going to several Social Security Administration offices. The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected, police said.

Security agencies rescue Gov. Dickson's sister without ransom

The younger sister of Bayelsa State governor, Henry Seriake Dickson has been rescued after spending over two months in the hands of kidnappers. A statement issued on Monday by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, said 26 year old Nancy Dickson, was rescued on Sunday evening from her abductors without any payment of ransom.

According to him,

"some of the kidnappers took to their heels while others were apprehended following a tip off on their hideouts."

While calling on the people of the state not to succumb to the demands of ransom made by kidnappers, Governor Dickson assured that plans were underway to amend the Bayelsa State Secret Cult, Kidnapping and other Related Offences Prohibition Bill 2012 to proscribe payment of ransom in the state.

He stressed that the Bill when passed into law, would go a long way in putting a stop to the incidence of kidnapping in the state. Dickson urged Bayelsans to take a cue from his personal experience with kidnappers when his aged mother was abducted in 2009 and efforts were made to secure her release without payment of ransom.

As part of efforts to stem criminal activities in the state, Governor Dickson said "a comprehensive security strategy would be launched soon to boost government,s policy of zero tolerance on crime and criminality."

He therefore advised anyone or group of persons who indulge in the unwholesome practice to turn a new leaf as the full weight of the law would be brought to bear on any culprit.
