Last week, popular Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh put to bed a baby boy and she shared photos from her pregnancy photo shoot (See Here).
Now, the actress who kept her pregnancy a well-guarded secret for months even though a lot of people suspected, joined the #ThrowbackThursday movement on social media.
The wife of Oladunni Churchill shared another photo of herself from her pregnancy days, giving her fans a rare glimpse at how she looked with her baby bump.

Here’s what we know about Funke Akindele and JJC’s surprise proposal/romantic affair

Earlier today, News broke out that Funke ‘Jenifa’ Akindele is getting set to take another shot at marriage, and the lucky man is said to be JJC Skillz of the JJC and 419 Squad.

Entertainment Express reports that Funke Akindele was overwhelmed by the proposal of the singer and was moved to tears when he popped the question…they have been dating for a few months now! The 39 year old actress even ‘sleeps and wakes up’ in JJC’s house at Prime water garden in Ikate.
The unexpected was reported to have taken place ‘a few weeks ago in Lekki on the set of her new TV Comedy Drama, Jenifa’s Diary’.
A source was quoted to have said: “Their romance is not a rumour as many people believe. Funke Akindele said Yes to JJC Skillz when he proposed marriage some weeks ago while on set. I am sorry, I can’t give you photos even if you give me $1million. Just wait for them to officially announce it.”
Another source who craved anonymity confirmed that Funke Akindele has now moved into her lover’s flat in Ikate area of Lekki just as JJC Skillz now calls the shots on the set of her popular TV drama, Jenifa’s Diary.
It was also observed that the actress ‘frequent visits to London has been to their secret love nest. JJC Skillz only relocated permanently to Nigeria only recently after many years in London. Last year, Funke Akindele marked her birthday elaborately in London.
The two have also covertly been making love advances on instagram. Funke Akindele has been helping to promote some of JJC Skillz’s works via her social media accounts.

Asked why he was yet to get married, JJC Skillz said in a 2015 interview, “The emotional ties is what I am trying so hard to avoid, because I want to focus on my career. My career makes me happy but my relationships don’t make me happy. Its full of complaints.

The Yoruba movie industry recently mourned the death of two top practitioners, sikiru Adeshina(Arakangudu) from yoruba genre due to heart Attack and mike Odiachi from the English genre owing to complications arising from diabetes and high blood pressure has lost yet another Colleague to the cold hands of death.
As the industry is yet to recover from the shock of the untimely death of these two members, the news of the death of shakirudeen Olakunle Akindele, a budding artiste majorly on the yoruba genre filtered out like a discomforting gas.

The death which occurred in a mysterious way through an attack that just came suddenly on the hale and hearty kunle who was awaiting a friend for an outing that morning nevertheless seen as been spiritual.

Why GLO Dropped PSquare

Many have been wondering why one of Nigerian prestigious mobile network Glo, dropped P-Square as their brand ambassador. Though their contract is not yet over, but it was rumored that it wouldn’t be renewed.
According to the interview held with a staff of the company by Naij, the duo were alleged to have been dropped due to the manner-less attitude of Peter.
It was said that during the grand finale of the competition held by Glo, Dance with Peter, an argument ensued between the company’s representative and Peter.
Due to the breech of contract of sole sponsorship, Peter showed dissatisfaction and couldn’t stop himself from insulting the company’s hierarchy.
This act got the owner of the company pissed and he promised not to renew the contract of the singers.

Teen girl who reported being gang raped by 5 teens in Brooklyn park now says the sex was consensual and she had sex with her own dad

Remember the 18 year old girl who said she was drinking with her Dad in the park at night when five teen boys attacked them with a gun and asked her Dad to leave, then got gang raped by all of them? Well she has admitted in court that the sex with all 5 boys was consensual and that she did infact sleep with her Dad. After her admission, all charges against the boys were dropped.

The boys, Denzel Murray, 14, Shaquell Cooper and Ethan Phillip, both 15, and Onandi Brown and Travis Beckford, both 17, have all been let off the hook according to Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson who made the announcement Wednesday afternoon.

'Working closely with the NYPD, my office has thoroughly investigated disturbing and very serious allegations of a gang rape at gunpoint last month inside the Osborn Playground in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn,' a statement from Thompson's office reads. 

'The complainant, as well as her father, provided multiple inconsistent accounts to NYPD Detectives and to experienced Special Victims prosecutors about important material facts in this case.

'The complainant has recanted her allegations of forcible sexual assault and the existence of a gun, and she does not wish to pursue criminal charges against any of the defendants. 

'She also refuses to cooperate with any prosecution against her father, who was engaging in sexual conduct with her. That night, this young woman's father and the five young men engaged in conduct that was reprehensible and wrong, but because of the lack of reliable evidence, criminal charges simply cannot be sustained.'

Thompson said that he hopes the girl 'gets all the support she needs going forward,' adding that victim advocates have been working with her and will provide any assistance she may need in the future.
