Pope Francis tells story of a beautiful woman who had an abortion just to preserve her figure

Using a woman who had an abortion to preserve her looks, Pope Francis took aim at the modern world's obsessions with power, success and beauty.
During his series of catechesis on Christian hope at his Wednesday General Audience, the Pontiff told a story dated from his time as Bishop of Buenos Aires, of a very beautiful woman who "bragged of her beauty"
"She said, as if it was natural, 'Yes, I had to have an abortion because my appearance is important'," the 80-year-old,said.
''When values such as physical beauty, health become idols to which everything must be sacrificed they create confusion in our spirit and in our hearts.
"Rather than promoting life, they drive us towards death," he added in comments that also targeted "power, success and vanity with their illusions of eternity and omnipotence."
Taking issue with the false idols offered by our modern world, Pope Francis at his Wednesday General Audience said that “hope is a primary need in man” but that we can get lost in our search for security by trusting in the false hopes offered by idols.

He said the Scriptures teach us that side by side with authentic hope, born of trust in God’s word, we can be tempted by false hopes and worldly idols, like money, power or physical beauty.
Idols, he said,
“confuse the mind and heart, and, instead of favoring life, they lead to death.
He went on to say,
"Faith is trusting in God, but there comes a moment in which [we], confronted with life’s difficulties, experience the fragility of that trust and feel the need for other certainties, more tangible and concrete.”
The Scriptures, especially the prophets and wisdom writers, he said, reveal the fleeting nature of idols and the hope they offer. In Psalm 115, the Psalmist ironically presents these idols as silver and gold, made of human hands.

"The message of the Psalm is very clear," Pope Francis said, "one who places their hope in idols becomes like them: empty images with hands that don’t touch, feet that don’t walk, mouths that cannot speak. One has nothing else to say and becomes incapable of helping, of changing things, of smiling, giving of oneself, and of loving."

In contrast, God is always greater than we are, making us incapable of reduce God to our size, made in our own image and tailored to our desires.

In 2013, a teenage girl of 16 years old, Arayinbogoke Busayo came out to claim that she got a baby girl for the Osun State born actor, but he denied the pregnancy and the baby afterwards.

They were both interviewed on the popular TV program “Labe Orun ” on different occasion and they both narrated their own side of the story.

Speaking with the media, Murphy said: “It happened that she came to a location with her friend who was like a mother to her, and I was the director of the movie. She was clinging herself to me but I tried as much as possible to avoid her. Later on, she said she wanted to act and my response was that she should go and tell Golugo. I had sex with her that day, I cannot deny that, but while she was at the location, I found that different men also slept with her to the extent that I was ashamed to have known her.”

In a slight twist in the tale, the girl who is allegedly the daughter of the Popular Yoruba actor, Murphy Afolabi has been crying every moment that she wants to see her father.

Report claims, the little girl, Moyosoreoluwa Afolabi who recently clocked 7 in August has not been performing well in school because of her inability to enjoy fatherly roles in her life.

In order to close the case and prove the paternity of the child, the actor was asked to do DNA test but he vehemently refused to do that up till this moment.

Recall that Stanley Duru was first actress Nkiru Sylvanus’ boyfriend first before they had issues and he met Oge. She got pregnant and they did some kind of introduction.
Their marriage however crashed a few years ago over irreconcilable differences and both parties refused to address the issue.

Interestingly, Oge is now posting cryptic mesages on her Instagram page.

“They used my pictures, the fake prophecy about TB Joshua’s death in 2017 is not from me” – Prophet says

prophet
The prophet at the center of the controversial prediction about the impending death of Prophet T.B. Joshua, which is currently trending online, has come out to denounce and disassociate himself from the “fake prophecy” made by one faceless Dr Olagorioye Faleyimu.
In a statement released to Sahara Weekly, Prophet Peculiar Hephzibah said,
“I was shocked to see my picture posted everywhere online today, claiming that I predicted the death of T.B. Joshua amidst other supposed revelations for 2017. I am crying out to the world to help me because I am NOT the person who said this. They used my picture but the false prophecy does not come from me. Someone used my picture and credited this fake prophecy to me. I am shocked to see it! Let T.B. Joshua know that this is not from me and someone used my picture. The same thing will happen to the person who credited this fake prophecy to me – which I know nothing about. As he wishes a prophet of God, so it shall happen to him.

“I implore all the news sites and blogs who published the fake prophecy – Naij.com, Daily Post, Pulse, Linda Ikeji and others I cannot mention – to help retract this story immediately. It’s not from me although it is my picture. I am shocked! If anyone can help me, please help me to reach T.B. Joshua – because I am ashamed to say I want to reach him with this lie credited to me. I know he is a prophet of God and God will reveal to him that I am not the one; they only used my picture.
“This is my advice to bloggers – don’t use any story you see on another website without confirming from the person concerned. If you cannot reach the person who sent the message, don’t publish it – the person is faceless. Confirm everything before you publish it. This is a case of ‘Touch not My Anointed and do My Prophet no harm’. This is a curse!”
Most of the reactions that trailed the contentious prediction questioned the authenticity of both the prophet and his purported prophecy, noting that no online trace could be found of the man in question or his ministry,
