She also revealed she would go off instagram once she has a kid
Once I have a kid I’m not going to be on Instagram," she added. "You know, I’ll probably delete my Instagram and just… I don’t know, live life."

The Atimoh Odili Foundation (AOF), as part of its philanthropic gestures donated gift items and relief materials to the residents of this camp made up of mostly women and children ravaged by the scourge of war in the North East.

The Founder of AOF, Dr. Atimoh Odili, is a man who understands the hardship faced by all under privileged people and for many years has devoted his resources to fighting the war against poverty. For those at the camp, numbering about 936, including women and children, it was quite a moving experience when they witnessed the arrival of loads of relief materials comprising of mattresses, blankets, bags of rice, milk, tomatoes and salt, all worth over N20 million.

“We generally take up projects that have the ability of directly improving people's standard of living. Our mission is to eradicate poverty in Nigeria. For the IDPS, once we are able to address the fundamental problem of hunger, we can help them grow and become reintegrated into the society,” said Miss Chioma Nwigwe, Managing Director AOF.

I didn't return to music because I failed in politics-9ice

Music star, 9ice, has debunked claims that he returned to music because he failed in politics.
9ice who ran  for a House of Reps seat in Oyo state but lost during the APC primary, told Punch that although he did not win the election, the experience has taught him a lot.
9ice said,
“It is not true that I am returning to music after failing in my political endeavours. People would always talk. When I went into politics, people said that it was because I was no longer making money through music. Music is my passion and even if it does not put food on my table, I would continue to pursue my passion. Music is something I can do for free. If it pays my bills fine, but if it doesn’t, I would still continue to do music. They have not heard the last of my political sojourn; come 2019, I would contest again"

Actress Bridget Amos Reveals That Her Big Bo obs Has Really Helped Her Career

Bridget Amos is an upcoming actress with big ideas. Despite coming into the industry in 2008, the Kwara State-born beauty has made films of her own. Unlike many of her peers, who would jump at anything for the sake  of relevance in the industry, Bridget has set certain standards for herself and would not produce more than one film a year.
She’s based in Malaysia and does both English and Yoruba films. Her latest movie  ‘Eko’  is set to be released soon. In this exclusive interview, she talks about her career, life and more.
What are you currently working on?
My movie ‘Eko’ which literally means ‘Lesson’. The film is an eye-opener for people who believe that without travelling abroad they cannot make it in this life. The film is planned to educate them that it’s not until you travel abroad before you make it, just focus on what you’re doing and you can make it anywhere.
Which has been your biggest movie so far?
It’s a movie called Ere; a Yoruba movie. There’s another one called Omo Malaysia. In fact , there are many of them I can’t remember right now
How has the journey in Nollywood been?
Stressful, I will say. For one, there is the issue of location logistics. At times they may lodge you in a hotel without adequate facilities. And because this is a profession you love, you have to manage whatever is thrown at you. Even feeding, at times on location, becomes a problem because adequate provisions are not made. It has not been easy, at all, but we have to stick to it because it is a profession we love.
What has been your biggest challenge so far?
You know Jide Kosoko? There was a time I was supposed to play a role alongside him but he brought someone else instead. He said he wanted the person to play the role in my place. I felt very bad. Along the line he changed his mind and asked me to take the role but I had been so heartbroken that I couldn’t pick myself up again. I eventually lost the role.
How do you get into character when you see scripts?
Since you love it and you enjoy doing it, it’s very easy. If you love acting, once you’re given a role it would be easy for you to act it out.
Who is your biggest inspiration in acting?
Ayo Adesanya
Can you do something sexy in a movie?
Yes, I can be very sexy and very romantic.
Can you flaunt your bo obs, stuff like that?
It’s part of acting so I can do it. I can play any role. Once you’re an actor, you should be able to play any role
Have your bo obs ever helped you in getting a role?
Yes, they have. In one English movie, though the movie is not yet out, they wanted someone that has big boobs and can flaunt it, so they called me. I was called by Laitan Sugar and it was because of my boobs they called me for that job. I played the role of a bad character in the movie
What has been your most embarrassing moment so far?
There is an actress, I cannot recall the name now, who accused me of not showing respect by greeting. Funny enough, I greeted her but she chose to ignore, the greeting, coming back to embarrass me in the presence of others that I did not great her. That really got me down. She did not just say I didn’t greet her, she also asked me to go home because she was in charge. That was really embarrassing.
Has anyone ever told you to date him for a role?
Bridget-Amos-1Yes, but I tell them that I cannot use my body to get roles.
What is your success secret as an actress?
My biggest plan is to be a great actress, well respected and loved. That’s why I watch how I relate with everyone in the industry. I don’t date guys in the industry but I respect everybody because I believe everybody is important. I think that has been helping me for so long.
Why did you choose to become an actress?
Since I was a child I have always wanted to be an actress. As a child I was always so absorbed and carried away watching stars on television. Each time I always told myself one day I would be like them. When I started I got to love it even more than before.
Are you done with school?
Yes for now. I studied Business Administration at Kwara State Polytechnic, just ND. I’m based in Malaysia now and I have a special course I’m doing there.
What more should people expect from you?
Right now, no movie again this year. I’ve done my movie Eko and before I can do another one, it would take me another one year.
Why that long?
I don’t want it to be anyhow, I want my movies to be once in a year so I can have time to plan it.
Who stars in that movie with you?
I have a guy called Okunnu, Jide Kosoko, Laitan Sugar and Lateef. I also have Saheed Osupa. I did it in Malaysia and I finished the rest in Nigeria; Osupa was there in the movie I did in Malaysia.
What else do you want to say?
I will say this; keep doing what you know how to do. Being an actress is not really easy but you have to be very patient and you don’t get angry easily. You smile at everything and make yourself happy. Respect everyone so you can get there. too.

Swap Naija unveiled at Yali Network, #OLIC2 & Headies 2015

A group of young Nigerians – Opeoluwa Aiyegbusi, Lawrence Akinwale and Alex Taiwo Babalola – has unveiled a mobile app called Swap Naija at YALI Network Face2Face Dinner & Awards, Olamide Live In Concert and Headies 2015 respectively. Swap Naija is a mobile app for both Android and Blackberry devices, which enables smart-phone users in Nigeria to swap airtime from one network to another, thus breaking the previous constraint of network.

At the YALI Dinner & Awards, on 26th December, 2015, Alex Taiwo Babalola (Chief Marketing Officer) explained that he and his friends hope young Nigerians will be inspired by the app; he enthused: “Now that the impossible is made possible, it means you can also do it, break the barriers and make things happen”. The Chief Operating Officer of the company, Opeoluwa Aiyegbusi explained that he was inspired to create the mobile solution when his neighbour was attacked and he thought swapping airtime across networks could have helped in making a distress call. He advised the youths thus: “You have to be courageous to challenge the status quo. Always look for ways to turn negativity to positivity. That is what Swap Naija has done in enabling phone users to swap across different networks, say MTN to Glo; Glo to Etisalat; Etisalat to Airtel, and vice versa”.
At Olamide Live In Concert, which was held at Eko Hotel & Suites on 27th December, 2015, a team of beautiful brand reps of Swap Naija were there to engage Nigerian youths. Also, the venue of the concert was branded with Swap Naija materials. The same thing happened at Headies 2015, where freebies were given out by Swap Naija team, and the Chief Operating Officer of Swap Naija, Opeoluwa Aiyegbusi was interviewed on Headies Red Carpet at the backstage. Also interviewed on the red carpet were other celebrities like Small Doctor, Oritse Femi and MI, with the red carpet interviews being beamed live on Hip TV.
Swap Naija in its space is a mobile app, which makes airtime swap possible on the go in real-time. Before now, what was obtainable was a transfer between subscribers from similar. Swap has been integrated with different phone brands and telecom networks. The app can be downloaded at Google Pay Store and Blackberry World (for BB10 and above) respectively. Work is on-going to create versions for Microsoft and Apple phones. We hope to see more innovations from this team in 2016.

Please release my husband- Dasuki's wife begs FG

Wife of embattled former National Security Adviser, Mrs Sambo Dasuki has called on the Federal government to release her husband who according to her "served his nation".

According to The Nation, Mrs Dasuki made the plea on Tuesday night after her husband was re-arrested after he was able to meet his N500 million bail condition. Mrs Dasuki who created a scene outside the DSS Headquarters said;

“Nigerians should help me beg the Federal Government, the DSS and other agencies to release my husband who did his best to serve this nation. He is ill, he needs medical attention, he is not pretending. I implore the DSS not to allow him to die in custody. I saw my husband and I felt dejected. He is not just well. Nigerians should assist him to get a reprieve. We(myself, the children and relations) are all destabilised. We don’t know what is happening because three courts have granted him bail. Why are they after him? Let those concerned respect the court by releasing my husband. There is no way my husband will run away from the country under any guise. They should please follow the rule of law and uphold his right to bail.”she said
