Rapper, Drake who is rumoured to be dating, singer and actress Jennifer Lopez, bought a $100,000 platinum and diamond Tiffany Victoria necklace for her. According to E! News he gave the jewelry to her as a gift on New Year’s Eve. But Drake is known to buy expensive gifts for his women.

He Bought Rihanna a Billboard: Put her name on it ahead of the 2016 MTV VMAs, during which the singer was presented the Video Vanguard Award. He surprised RihRih with a billboard, which read, “Congratulations to Rihanna from Drake and Everyone at OVO.”

Senate rejects ban on vehicle importation through land borders

The senate yesterday rejected the Federal government’s proposed ban on vehicle importation by road in the country. At its plenary which was presided over by deputy senate president, Ike Ekweremadu, yesterday January 11th, the senate called on the Nigeria Customs Service to immediately suspend the policy on the outright ban on the importation of vehicles through the country’s land borders which took effect from January 1st this year.
According to the senators, the policy which it described as anti-people, will lead to the loss of 500,000 jobs. During the deliberations, Senator Dino Melaye said “We are in a precarious situation in this country. We are at a time when people are not sure where the next meal will come from. This government needs to consider the welfare of the people. In enacting any policy, we must look at the social impacts.”

Nigerians on Twitter have been roasting him and now, Ghanian actress, Juliet Ibrahim has entered the mix. She tweeted her support for Mr Eazi saying, ‘Some naija sound is azonto inspired, alkaida inspired, hi-life inspired,even if u hear “mad over you” you’ll think it’s a Ghanaian singing’.

Gideon Okeke calls out veteran actor, Chiwetalu Agu for his use of vulgar slangs in movies

Nollywood actor, Gideon Okeke took to Instagram to call out veteran actor, Chiwetalu Agu for his use of vulgar slangs in his movies stating that it is too much and not healthy for kids who watch his movies.

He shared a photo of the actor and accused him of enjoying lots of liberty from movie directors which makes him use the vulgar slang without caution. He however deleted the post after he received a lot backlash from Agu's fans. Read what he wrote below..

Pretty Mike apologizes for putting leash on ladies during his outings

Following the social media outrage and arrest of Pretty Mike by Lagos state government, the 30 year old club owner has taken to his Instagram page to apologize for putting ladies on a leash during his outings, saying he meant well by his craft. He wrote;

"There has been a lot of controversy over two of my outings holding some females on a leash. I apologize to all the women and the good people of Lagos State, Nigeria and the rest of the world who feel dehumanized by this craft that meant well. I will use other platforms and format to continue to create the necessary awareness...#WomenRights #PeaceAmbassador"

IG users come after Gideon Okeke for calling out Actor, Chiwetalu Agu, for his use of vulgar slangs in movies

 

Nollywood actor, Gideon Okeke, earlier today, took to Instagram to call out veteran actor, Chiwetalu Agu for his use of vulgar slangs in his movies, stating that it doesn't educate, inform or propagate culture, and isn't suitable for children. (Read here) .

Singer, Duncan Mighty, and his wife expecting their second child (Photo)

Singer Duncan Mighty and his wife, Vivien, are expecting their second child. The couple welcomed their first child, a boy, in November 2015, four months after getting married in July 2015.

 

Vivien is pictured above with their first child, Icon Mighty, and her growing baby bump. Congrats to them. 

 

The government before was aiding the Movie Industry' - Ramsey Noah

Nollywood actor, Ramsey Noah has noted that the previous government led by Goodluck Jonathan did more good for the movie industry compared to the current administration .

According to Joy News Ghana,  the actor said that the previous government invested financially in the movie industry while this present government has not really done much for the industry.

'The new government, based on situations right now has a little setback. The government before was aiding the industry a whole lot trying to propel a lot of funds and increasing cinemas and outlets for the films to sell.” 

'In this dispensation, it’s a bit minimized but we are hoping that by the time things settle properly they will look into it'

Tina, now 57, gave up acting in 1987 and moved to the United States.


After her long term relationship with Ragesh Khanna ended, she got married to Anil Ambani, an Indian billionaire business magnate in 1992. They both have two sons.

She is  deeply involved in a number of charity, arts, talent endeavours.
