The Nigerian fluent rapper and Actor is having a fall out with his record label premiere entertainment

Despite rebuttals from both parties from the recent, all is not well , since rumours of Neyoswaggz anger from the label went viral.

While both parties have yet to categorically spell out the true situation, inside sources say that owing to several failed peace-making attempts and efforts to win Neyoswaggz back, following an alleged management crisis affecting the rapper and Actor fixtures and supposed dropped EP ,videos ,track releases, developments and plans Neyoswaggz has sought for a way out.

It would be recalled that signs of the once rosy union turned sour became imminent after Neyoswaggz posted a series of tweets and broadcasts few of them are read “… "No no I can't I can't I wont"...  "I won't sign a new deal if am not given wat I am worth"... "Then u should free this beast in me , Its high time for feast! Release my singles "Now Am Free" #priemiere entertaiment "

A particular previous tweet and broadcast went, again viral " ” Most of you will recal Some times early this year I made a hint of dropn one of the dopest raps ever I swear i wasn't lieing this label holding me down believe me I will .. You all had waited enough for something new from me and I really appreciate your believe in my fluent power flows, the swaggz is fine soonest it will be fine while we slug this out wana use this medium to say a big thank you to everybody and specially to nollywood for giving me life said Neyoswaggz"

Many pointers such as his absence at the Labels anniversary Concert early january, despite an excuse by the label that the rapper was ill when various sources said he was in far-away U.K having a swell time, raised brows.

Also, Neyoswaggz who let go of his long time manager and friend Mary Alase in january, 2016, is said to be dissatisfied with his contract agreement terms and label gear and functioning along with his sharing quota with the label.

Reports also state that major labels are offering the fluent rapper and actor a much more flexible contract offer as the cum Rapper and Actor whom had starred in much varieties of movies to mention aside previous movies his very recent latest featured movies like "JOMILOJU" produced by bose aregbesola making waves while also starring again in the classical story board movie "AYE SHINA RAMBO" with is picture boldly featuring widely on the cd pack cover of the movie ,the rapper and actor has really ganner a wide fan base not mentioning his ongoing EXODUS PROJECT on board kick starting soon

Yet, Premiere entertainment  has constantly shut down reports of Neyoswaggz  likely exit from the label describing it as ‘nothing but rumours.’

During a recent press conference organised, the record label maintained that “Neyoswaggz remains a part of Premiere Entertainment record label There is no problem that it can't be solved,” in response to questions on the disagreement between the label and Neyoswaggz

Shortly after, he spoke out publicly about the alleged holding of him down by the label publicly on broadcast and twitter

The label released a report read.. Neyoswaggz  is Really turning into a big brand and going global ranging from hiphop to movies as a result we have to re-negotiate the contract he signed. Neyoswaggz has his own idea of how he wants to do things and he has plans for himself too. Neyoswaggz is still with us, there’s no problem, things will be sorted out soon.”

With the social media abuzz with stories of yet another musical breakup alas Vector and YSG, Runtown and his label saga also and amongst others there was heightened suspicion after it was recently discovered that Neyoswaggz had already negotiated with a particular heavy weight label with brand and superb management prior to a deal concerning his recent feat  soaring from hiphop to movies which has been widely noticed and seen as a plus respectively to his brand.

For now, music enthusiasts are waiting to see now if Neyoswaggz will drop his coming next singles  under the label platform which are bound to drop soon

A mother has revealed her heartache after she was widowed at the age of just 27 – shortly giving birth to their eighth child.
Cloe Green, from Dyffryn Ardudwy, North Wales, said she tried desperately to save husband James’s life and even performed CPR, but he died in his sleep aged 31.
Cloe, who met her childhood sweetheart when they were both teenagers, has revealed her struggle in being left alone to care for their brood – and her disappointment that they never got a family photo together. Cloe said it was just 12 weeks after she had given birth to the couple’s youngest child, Elijah, that her world caved in.

Cloe said:
‘It was so sudden and so shocking. To think James won’t be here to see the large family he wanted so much grow up breaks my heart.
‘When it happened I wanted to cry – but I looked at those eight little faces all depending on me and I knew I had to do this for them and for James.Nobody can replace James. He loved being a dad so much. I am devastated he was taken from us but pleased he got his wish of us having our eighth baby.
‘He would say “just one more” and wink at me.’

However, Cloe, who is now crowdfunding to raise £5,000 to finish the garden for the children than James never had a chance to finish, said she is trying to put her grief aside to be a mother and a father to their children.

Court okays seizure of Fayose’s properties

The Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday validated the order it gave on July 20, 2016, authorising the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to seize some assets belonging to Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, pending the completion of an ongoing investigation.
Justice Nnamdi Dimgba ruled that the order of interim forfeiture did not violate the provisions of Section 308 of the 1999 Constitution, which confers immunity from civil and criminal proceedings on a governor.
“It is my considered opinion that the order of court, made on July 20, 2016, in respect of some property of the applicant, and within the limited scope and duration within which it was obtained, was duly procured and does not offend the provision of the Constitution referred to.
“Although Section 308 of the Constitution serves to isolate governors of states from the distraction of litigation and legal proceedings to enable them to attend to official responsibilities, it should not be interpreted in such a way as to defeat the fight against corruption, to mean that the EFCC or other investigating agencies cannot take a peep into the assets or personal accounts of a serving governor in the execution of a strictly worded and mutually supervised interim attachment orders for the purposes of obtaining evidence for use in future when the immunity has lapsed.”
The judge, however, said the order of interim forfeiture made on July 20 had a lifespan of 45 days from the date it was issued.
He ordered that the EFCC must conclude its investigation within the 45-day lifespan of the order, adding that the order would automatically dissolve if the EFCC failed to serve a motion on notice seeking its extension on Fayose at least five days to its expiration.
Justice Dimgba delivered his ruling on Tuesday shortly after hearing an application by Fayose’s lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN), asking the court to set aside the interim forfeiture orders on 10 grounds.
The EFCC’s lawyer, Mr. Andrew Akoja, opposed the application, insisting that the commission had violated no law by obtaining the order.
Fayose’s assets affected by the interim forfeiture orders re-affirmed by the court on Tuesday are four sets of four-bedroomed apartments at Charlets 3, 4, 6 and 9; Plot 100, Tiaminu Savage, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The two others are at 44 Osun Crescent, Maitama, Abuja, and Plot 1504, Yedzeram Street, Maitama, Abuja.
The EFCC claimed in its affidavit accompanying an ex parte application through which it obtained the interim forfeiture order that the property was acquired with proceeds of fraud which Fayose allegedly got through kickbacks from contractors and other alleged fraudulent means.
The EFCC also said the funds used for the purchase of the property were said to be drawn from the sum of N1,219,490,000 which was said to be part of the N4,745,000,000 allegedly stolen from the treasury of the Federal Government through the Office of the National Security Adviser.
But Fayose’s lawyer, Ozekhome, filed a motion on notice on July 21, asking the court to discharge the order on 10 grounds.
Among the grounds was that the ex parte motion with number, FHC/ABJ/CS/480/2016, filed on July 12, 2016, and through which the EFCC obtained the July 20 order, “is unconstitutional, incompetent and constitutes a gross abuse of court process.”
Fayose’s lawyer also argued that the court lacked jurisdiction to entertain and/or proceed to grant the interim order.
Ozekhome also argued that by virtue of the immunity enjoyed by Fayose as the sitting Governor of Ekiti State under Section 308 of the Constitution, he (Fayose) “cannot be proceeded against in a court of law.”
He added, “The court ought properly in the circumstance to have dismissed and/or set aside, in its entirety, the said suit numbered, FHC/ABJ/CS/480/2016, and upon which the motion ex parte filed on July 12, 2016, for an interim order of attachment has been sought and same granted.
“There is absolutely no law, statutory or otherwise, that justifies the action taken by the respondent against the applicant (Fayose) that can stand in the face of the immunity granted the applicant by the Constitution.”
In dismissing Ozekhome’s contention in his ruling on Tuesday, the judge further noted that interpreting Section 308 of the Constitution “in absolute sense, with all or nothing approach” as canvassed by Fayose’s lawyer “will do great adversity to the society.”
The judge added, “In the light of the above, I hold that the applicant is not entitled to the reliefs sought and they are hereby refused.
“However, in the interest of justice and not to appear to make a mockery or nonsense of the immunity clause, I hold that the interim attachment order of July 20, 2016, granted by this court in favour of the respondent (EFCC) shall last for 45 days as the court had already ordered, within which the respondents must conclude their investigation in respect of the property, at the end of which every encumbrance on the property arising from the order of court, must abate.
“I order that in the event that the respondent may wish to renew the interim attachment order, as they are entitled to, they must serve the motion to that effect on the applicant not later than five days to the expiration of that order, without which the order shall stand abated.”

Budget padding: APC moves to save Dogara, meets Speaker, Jubrin

The All Progressives Congress has intervened in the crisis rocking the House of Representatives over alleged padding of the 2016 budget.
The APC was said to have made the move to prevent the party from being “brought to dishonour.”
The APC National Working Committee, at the party’s headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday, separately met with the Speaker, Yakubu Dogara; and a former Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation, Abdulmumin Jubrin.
It was gathered that the meetings were aimed at addressing the crisis and preventing the removal of Dogara.
A leader of the party, who confided in The PUNCH, said, “We are making moves to resolve the crisis. Dogara is a loyal party man.”
The national executive of the APC had, through a letter, summoned Jubrin to appear before leaders of the party at 2pm on Tuesday.

The party leadership had earlier on Tuesday met with Dogara.
In the letter by its Deputy National Chairman (North), Lawal Shuaibu, the party decried the media war between the two APC lawmakers without consulting the party for resolution.
The letter read in part, “As a disciplined party, the constitution of our party has made adequate provisions on ways of resolving any issue among members. It behoves the party to take all necessary steps to ensure that no member of our family brings dishonour on the party.
“You are, therefore, by this invitation, expected to appear before the undersigned at the APC national secretariat on Tuesday, August 2, at 2pm.

“Kindly note that failure to and/or refusal to honour this invitation will amount to a decision you have made not to submit to the party.”

Jibrin arrived at the APC headquarters in Abuja in a Toyota Land Cruiser with number plate, BWR 768 AM, around 2.10pm and immediately went into a closed-door meeting with Shuaibu.
It was observed that the meeting was attended by the northern caucus in the party’s executive.
Other officers who attended the meeting are the National Secretary, Mai Bala Buni; and the National Vice Chairman (North-West), Inuwa Abdulkadir.

Both Jibrin and Dogara, who are at the centre of the budget-padding scandal, are from the North.
The Deputy National Chairman of the APC, Segun Oni, who was sighted around the party’s headquarters, did not attend the meeting.

The meeting, which was held in Shuaibu’s office, lasted till around 5pm.
Shuaibu, who later addressed journalists, said the meeting was a consultation among party members.
He said, “This is strictly a consultation between a very great member of the party and party officials in respect of what is going on in the House of Representatives.

“There is nothing like passing any judgment against any member of the party; we will play our role as an umpire in this matter to see how we can restore peace and unity among our members.”
Shuaibu said there was no truth in the information that the meeting was called to discipline Jibrin.
“But when certain things go off course, the party needs to call its members to know how best to reunite them. That is exactly what we did. We heard his side of the story. We earlier heard from the Speaker,” he added.

The APC chieftain further said the meeting with Jibrin was to get “a better briefing” because the party had to be carried along as the Speaker and Jibrin were members of the APC.
“We should know directly from them what is really going on,” he added.
When he was asked if the crisis had been resolved at the meeting, Shuaibu said, “I said we are discussing with them and the discussions are not concluded.
“We will continue to consult. We are not done with them. We sat with the Speaker earlier. We just finished talking with Jibrin. If the need arises, we will have a round-table discussion with both of them.’’
Jibrin also told journalists that he and the party leaders discussed “extensively” at the meeting on the crisis in the House.

He said, “We will continue to discuss. I will continue to honour the invitation of the party, respect the party, and I am sure that whatever it is, you will know in due course.”

When our correspondent asked Jibrin why it took him so long before coming out on the alleged padding of the 2016 budget, he said, “I want to restrict my discussion to the party’s invitation.”
Jibrin, from Kano State, had on Monday submitted a petition to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission and the Nigeria Police Force against Dogara and some leaders of the House.

A party source, who spoke to our correspondent after the meeting, lamented that the crisis in the House was embarrassing the party.

The source, who was privy to the details of the Tuesday meeting, said Jibrin was warned against seeking out-of-party ways to air his grievances with Dogara and other leaders of the House.
The source said, “Although the issue is a legislative matter, what is going on in the House of Representatives is denting the image of the APC. The party should have been invited to mediate between the warring sides rather than involving the police, the ICPC and the EFCC.”
Dogara’s Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Mr. Turaki Hassan, could not be reached as his telephone rang out.

A text message sent to his mobile phone at 6.01pm on Tuesday was not replied to.
Also, a National Assembly source said the two lawmakers were invited to give their individual accounts on the “budget padding” allegations.

“I believe that the next thing is for a competent party organ to look into the matter,” the source added.
Meanwhile, Jibrin earlier twitted that he had received the party’s invitation, but repeated his demand that Dogara and the three principal officers he accused of “padding” the budget should step down.
He twitted, “I am confident that the party will do the right thing by supporting our resolve to wipe out corruption in the House and direct the Speaker, Dogara; the Deputy Speaker, Lasun; the Whip, Doguwa; and the Minority Leader, Ogor, to reconvene the House immediately and step aside to face their imminent prosecution and save the House and our country from further embarrassment.”
Jibrin also attacked the Chairman, House Committee on Interior, Mr. Jagaba Adams-Jagaba, calling on the EFCC to investigate him for his past activities in the House.

Mikel changes his name

Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has changed his name officially after a registration error 13 years ago.
The Nigeria international was born in Jos as John Michael Nchekwube Obinna back in 1987, starting his footballing career with Plateau United.
After two years there, Mikel moved to Lyn in Norway and then earned a switch to the Premier League with Chelsea, where he has been now for a decade.
The central midfielder has been known as John Obi Mikel for years, but he has now changed his name to Mikel John Obi, as reported by the Mirror.
The reason behind that is the word ‘Mikel’ was never actually a part of the midfielder’s name – many felt it was short for Michael. It only became a thing when the Nigerian FA mistakenly used Mikel instead of Michael on his submission form for the 2003 FIFA Under-17 World Cup.
Mikel had been letting the mistake slide for 13 years, but would be hoping people could now call him by his correct name.

Photo: Woman stabs husband to death for coming home late and drunk

A Kenyan woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her husband to death for arriving home late and drunk.
Ann Mbaithe (pictured left) was accused of stabbing her husband, Daniel Githuka, 30, in the chest and killing him, after he returned home in the early hours of Saturday, July 30 in Tinganga village, Kiambu town.

The deceased's mother Elizabeth Wanjiku said he worked at a neighbouring school and usually returned at about 10pm. She said the couple had been married for five years and had no problems. The had one child aged four and a half.
"My son and I live in the same compound. I heard confrontation from my house past midnight," Wanjiku recounted.
The mother said she got out of bed and went to Githuka's house where she found him arguing with his wife. Her son stood his ground saying he was the head of the house who should not have been confronted over the matter. She had not noticed the knife Mbaithe had been holding since she folded her arms.
"It was not a physical confrontation but my son's wife suddenly attacked and stabbed him in the chest with a knife. After my son was stabbed I called for help from neighbours but upon reaching hospital he was pronounced dead due to loss of blood."
Wanjiku said she reported the matter at Kiambu police station. Officers arrived  later and arrested Mbaithe at the home. County DCI boss Amos Tebeny said Mbaithe will be charged with murder once investigations are completed.

Photo: 31-year old man nabbed with hard drug worth N1.78b in Anambra State

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Anambra State arrested a 31-year-old man on July 28, for allegedly peddling hard drug worth N1.78 billion.

The Commander, Mr. Sule Momodu, said the suspect identified as Vincent Chidiebere was arrested in Awka, the state capital, with methamphetamine weighing 25.2kg. A kilogramme of the drug cost about $150,000.

He said the arrest was made following a tip-off that a shipment of the drug would pass through Anambra from Enugu to Lagos. Speaking to reporters, he said:
"Based on the information, we set up a team to search vehicles from a particular company. About 11am we intercepted a vehicle carrying the substance and nabbed the suspect."
Momodu, described the drug as "one of the most potent illicit drugs in the world, which has a lot of destructive tendencies on the user, adding that anyone under the influence of the dangerous drug can be influenced to make disastrous decisions. He said the chemicals used for the production were highly toxic and could cause permanent destruction to the eco-system.
"The waste from the drug is more toxic than the extracted substance. The people around where it is being produced are likely to be exposed to cancer and other incurable diseases, while children born in the area are likely to be deformed."
The Commander said that apart from the three methamphetamine laboratories discovered at Nanka, Ozubulu and Obosi, he believed more exist. Momodu urged the public to volunteer information that could help to stop the illicit venture, adding that the State Governor, Willie Obiano pledged a reward of N500,000 to anyone with useful information.
"Most of the methamphetamine being produced are meant for Asian countries," Momodu said.
The suspect will be arraigned before court on completion of investigation.
