Alleged child torture: Nwole Precious' family give insight on how their daughter was tortured by mistress & sent back to Awka
However, on arrival to Awka, Nwole Precious was allegedly picked up at the park by a relation to her mistress, who then took her to her family house, at Umudioka village, Awka.Nwole Precious is a little girl of 7years. She originated from Umudioka village Awka, in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State. She lived at Abuja with one Mrs. Chinelo Ifezue,from Mbaukwu,of the aforesaid local government area of, Anambra State. On 6th August, 2016, Nwole Precious was allegedly transported to Awka, from Abuja, by her mistress, Mrs.Chinelo Ifezue.
Therefore, when Nwole Precious was sighted by her family
persons on the aforementioned date, that her family persons were puzzled
to have seen injuries surrounding their daughter's head and eye with
blood stains, thus, they rushed the little Precious to a hospital (name
withheld),that is located in the village,hence, we decided to visit the
said hospital.
Hence, at the time of filling this report, Nwole Precious
is still hospitalized. We carefully looked at her, and we saw injuries
on her head with heavy plaster and her eyes swollen and reddish in
colour,thus, we asked family persons why the head of the little was
wrapped with a heavy plaster, the family said that, surgical operation
was conducted on her head to fill up the opening vested on her
head.Moverover, pictures of the njuries allegedly melted on little
Precious by her madam were equally displayed.

"Mrs. Chinelo Ifezue knows that, we cannot fight her, that
is why she tortured our daughter at Abuja, moved her down to Awka and
never shown any remorse for brutalizing our six years old girl'.
"Mrs. Chinelo Ifezue is just relaxing in her house at
Abuja while we are in Awka languishing in pains over the inhuman acts
she melted on our daughter and we do not have the resource to pursue our
case against Mrs. Chinelo Ifezue. That Mrs. Chinelo alleged that our
daugher has evil spirit,so she tortured her to chase the said spirit out
of her. Mrs. Chinelo is currently at Abuja,so I appeal to the members
of the public and the government of Nigeria to ensure that Mrs. Ifezue
is brought to justice", the parents to Nwole Precious cried out.

But when asked why she did not take Nwole Precious to
church for deliverance or return the small girl back home to her family
since Nwole Precious is allegedly possessed with evil spirits, that Mrs.
Chinelo Ifezue alleged that,she she had tried to so but her plans
return the little girl failed. And when asked to return home so as to
address this problem, Mrs. Chinelo Ifezue alleged that, she is a nursing
mother, but if we want her to return to East from Abuja, we should pay
into her account, her transport fare from Abuja and back to Abuja. Mrs.
Chinelo however, maintained that she never transported Precious to Awka
without the help of someone. She said that Precious was moved down to by
her husband's relation, but her actions towards Nwole Precious were out
of anger.
This is her speech," I have proofs that Precious is
possesed and I wouldnt like to go into case with anyone,thus, i have
forgiven Preciou over what she did to I and my family. That my actions
towards her were out of anger".
But in a meeting with Mrs. Nwole and Family, they alleged
that the Doctor said that, their daughter could develop brain problems,
thus, they need justice,thus, they ask for Justice in this
regard,despite the girl has been discharged and hospital bill paid by
the mistress family

Team Nigeria’s Olympics Kits Arrive Rio 3 Days To The End Of Olympic Games.
As the worldwide quadrennial event has three days to its end, Team Nigeria took delivery of the much awaited kits after most of the athletes had concluded their events with some already back to their bases.
A top official of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria who disclosed this to Vanguard sports Thursday, said the kits which arrived Wednesday night would no longer serve any purpose because “most of the athletes have left after concluding their events”.
“I have never experienced this in my years in sports. Money meant for the Games was held tightly by ministry officials and they were just releasing money piecemeal. We had to buy kits on our own while some athletes competed in their personal kits.”It would be recalled that Team Nigeria had to resort to their warm-up track suits for the match past of the Opening Ceremony as the sports ministry claimed the official attire which was showcased before President Muhammadu Buhari during the hand-over ceremony in Abuja failed to arrive on time for the ceremony.
Nigerians who were alarmed by the embarrassing scenario condemned the ministry for the untidy handling of the athletes’ kits but the sports minister, Solomon Dalung, in defence of the ministry, tweeted with a post that even the South African contingent appeared at the Opening Ceremony in their track suits.

Davido in N7m Concert Fee Controversy
Hip hop singer, Davido, who was advertised to be among the artistes to perform at the Festival of India, which took in Lagos on Saturday, was conspicuously absent.
This did not go down well with some guests who obviously wanted to see him in action.
Indeed, such people think that the inclusion of his name was a fluke, to the extent that some have expressed the opinion online.
But Punch Newspapers spoke with the organisers who stressed that Davido was indeed invited.
The chief organiser, Rosiji, also confirmed this.
Although he said it was premature to say much on the development, other vital sources noted that the contract between the Festival of India and the artiste could run into N7m.
It was gathered that Davido informed them on Friday night, a day to the event, that he was indisposed.
It was further gathered on Thursday (yesterday) night that the organisers have accordingly communicated Davido’s lawyers, as they hope to get a refund of the fee said to have been paid.
Efforts by our correspondent to speak with the artiste or his manager did not yield fruits.
A call to his manager’s phone number and a subsequent text message had not been replied as of 8pm production time on Thursday.

Man Arrested For Having Sex with a Van
A Dayton, Ohio man was arrested on Aug. 16th after allegedly performing sexual act in public…with a van. A 911 caller reported seeing the suspect, Michael Henson, pulling down his pants, exposing his eggplant and then “sticking his genitals in the grill of a red van,” according to The Smoking Gun.
After “humping it as if he were having sex with the van” for a while, the caller said Henson, who appeared to be intoxicated, passed out in a yard, then got up and stumbled away.
A second caller led police to a nearby street, where Henson was found walking along wearing only shorts and shoes. They apprehended him without incident and took him to the station, where he was charged with public indecency.
The officers also tracked down the owner of the van, who said he witnessed Henson passing out in the yard, but not the act that preceded it.
