Olajumoke and Hubby Are Yet To Move into Their 3-bedroom Apartment

jums-0
Olajumoke Orisaguna, the 27 year old bread hawker turned model is yet to move into her three bedroom apartment.
“Olajumoke’s house will soon be ready. The renovation is almost complete. They are already at the final stage. The Orisagunas should be ready to move in anytime from now.
“They just want a decent and presentable place for them, that is why it is taking this long.” a source told Encomium
The building is supposed to house the 27 year old mother of two with her children (Grace, five, Precious, 16 months) and Sunday Orisaguna, her aluminum windows and doors installer husband.
The apartment under renovation was given to the Orisagunas courtesy of Sijimoto Construction boss, Sijibomi Ogundele. The apartment comes fully furnished with five year rent paid by the young philanthropist.

According to TY Bello who discovered Olajumoke, she was a hairstylist from Iree, Osun state, but wasn’t making enough money along with her husband, Sunday, who is a sliding door installer to take care of their two children.
A distant relative, who knew someone operating a bakery invited her to Lagos to hawk bread. Olajumoke relocated to Lagos to give bread hawking a try.
She left behind her husband and five year old first child. She lived in the bakery with other in-house workers and bread sellers and made a profit of between N300 and N700 daily.
Jumoke’s story has inspired a lot of people and many have been tapping into her kind of miracle, as it is a typical rags to riches tale that sounds like a lie.
She has been offered internship at Make Me Salon and Sari Signatures a popular Lebanese owned salon in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Concerned Mother Leaves Condom For Her Son Ahead Of His Date But There’s Something Wrong. (Photos)

condom stuck
This literally cracked me up though… it left me with the question which I’m throwing out to you guys… Do you think a typical Nigerian mother can do this? A typical one?!
A mother left a condom and a note for her son who was actually expecting a date… Although it seemed like a good move to keep him from having unwanted kids or diseases, she actually did the opposite of what you’re thinking…
The mother stuck a pin through the condom, rendering it useless..
While some Reddit users where it was posted think she intentionally did it because she wants to encourage him to have sex and give her a grandchild, others feel it was just an ignorant mistake…
What do yo think?

Nun Caught Stealing $23 Worth Of Snacks. (Photos)

nun caught
A 78-year-old nun is said to have been caught shoplifting $23 worth of coffee, snacks and toiletries from a central Pennsylvania store.
Police say Sister Agnes Pennino was seen taking the items from the Surplus Outlet near Berwick on Monday afternoon. WNEP-TV reports police determined the woman captured on surveillance video was the nun who lived about 20 miles away at St.Cyril’s convent in Danville.
Manger Zane Kishbach said a customer alerted him that someone might be stealing from the store.
‘Another customer came to me in aisle 5 and said, ‘I’m not sure what I’m seeing, but I think a woman is stealing,’ and she had already left the store by that time and I went out to pursue her,’ Kishbach said.
An employee of Surplus Outlet was able to copy the license plate number from her car.
Kishbach says that the stealing was ‘planned‘ and claims that Pennino brought her own red shopping bags that resemble the store’s bags to put the stolen items in.He added that she exited through the front door so as not to be seen by cashiers.

Shoplifting is a summary offense, akin to a traffic ticket, meaning the nun will likely pay a fine if she’s convicted.
Store manager Zane Kishbach says he ‘couldn’t believe it that a nun would actually do something like that.’

Peter Okoye Finally Speak Out

psquare-jude-okoye-600x558
So, PSquare’s Former Manager, Howie T, has revealed in a new chat with NetNg, the only thing that can end the bitter Psquare split, and make the brothers, Paul and Peter Okoye work together as a team again.
The Nigerian pop duo, Psquare, has already gone their separate ways, flaunted different managements and released solo songs after a fallout involving their elder brother Jude Okoye on social media. In turn, their actions caused a lot of drama and left fans praying for Africa’s most beloved pop group.
Thenet.ng held a phone conversation with Howie T and in it, Howie revealed Peter’s side of the story and the only condition for a Psquare reunite.
Howie was Psquare’s first-ever manager after they won a Benson & Hedges talent hunt in 2001. He managed the duo from 2001 to 2005, before Jude Okoye took over as the band’s manager.
Here are excerpts from his chat with Thenet.ng’s chief correspondent, Dayo Showemimo:
Well, the guys in question are adults, married with children, so I think we should respect their opinion. And the truth is, I believe they know what they are doing’.
When I saw Peter’s Tweets, I called him and even went to see him to talk to him about it. He said Jude is the problem that he doesn’t have any issue with Paul’.
He told me that in a normal setting, a manager is supposed to be their employee and not the other way round, but Jude always uses his influence as their elder brother to boss over them.

He also said managers collect between 15 – 25 % of an artiste’s income but in their case they share everything equally and he’s not happy with that sharing formula’.
‘In my opinion I think Peter is just trying to prove a valid point. He told me that he turned down a show Jude got them in Finland and when they called them for the Dubai show, he told the organisers what it takes to get Peter and Paul, what it takes to get Peter or Paul alone’.

Secondly, things like this messes up an artiste’s creativity, Peter is a composer, dancer and singer, when they sit down to vote on songs that’ll make their album, Paul and Jude vote for more of Paul’s songs than Peter’s and these are the things that pisses him off.
It has gone beyond just beef now, there’s a lot of ego at play’.
In my opinion, for peace to reign, why can’t Jude just leave them alone, Peter has told me that if they change Jude today, there’ll be Psquare tomorrow and sadly the only person that can talk to them is their mother and she’s dead’.
Well, 20 children cannot play together for 20 years’.

Enugu herbalist marries 18-year-old girl as 57th wife (Photos)

Emeka, first son,Franca one of the wives and Onuwa
A 69 year old herbalist, Chief Simon Odo, who married an 18 year old girl, Chidinma, as his 57th wife last November has said that he would not marry again, having had a fair of women in his life.
Chidinma was married from Okutu, in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State. Odo, also known variously as Onuwa, King Solomon of Africa or King of Satan was however married to 68 women but some of them had earlier died.
However, Odo spoke in an interview with the South East Voice at his palatial home at Aji, Enugu Ezike in Igboeze North Local Government Area of Enugu State. Emeka, first son, Franca, one of the wives and Onuwa Onuwa who was armed with an Onward note book where names of his wives and over 200 children were listed according to their dates of birth said that his first son, Emeka was born on December 15, 1969.
“I was born in 1947 on the day they had an eclipse of the sun and the moon. There was darkness in the afternoon on the day I was born. I was the only son of my parents. “I was baptised as a Christian in the Catholic Church and I even became a mass servant under Rev Father Desmond McGlade. I however became a herbalist because of circumstances beyond my control. As I said, I was the only son of my parents but because some of his relations wanted to take over his landed property, they poisoned me. I contracted tuberculosis and had to be treated for years.

At a point, I was even unable to walk for about five years because I became lame. “I ran to Ondo State in the South West, where I trained to become a herbalist at the age of 15, before returning to the village. I married 15 wives when my father was alive and the situation prolonged his life. He died in 1992 at the ripe old age of over 90 years.
My first son has seven children and four grandchildren.
“Any of my children who chooses to become a Christian is free to do so, provided he/she must become a Catholic. I don’t like the Pentecostal churches.”

The new bride, Chidinma On feeding of his large family, Onuwa said,
“People think that I feed many of them but this is not true. Most of my children are grown up. The boys among them usually marry and go to their own houses just like the girls who marry and follow their husbands to their places.” However, my wives cook food for the whole family in turns. For example, if it is the turn of Ada or Omada to cook, she would invite five of her colleagues to assist her in cooking. One woman cooks for everybody in the house at a time but my other wives would always assist such a person.”
New bride
New bride
Asked if any of his sons has taken after him as a herbalist, he said,
“I will not encourage them to do so. I don’t want my sons to take after me because some of them will do bad things with my medicine. As a herbalist, I have never killed anybody or thought of evil against anybody but I do not trust that my children would be upright like me. That is why I will not encourage them to inherit my medicine but I may bequeath them to some of my younger children, not the old, greedy ones.”
Meanwhile, it was learnt that although Onuwa abhorred seeing his children attend churches other than the Catholic church, seven of them were ordained pastors at the Lord’s Chosen Church. Hitherto, some of them attended Catholic and Anglican churches while many of them took after their father in his business. However, the ordination of the pastors brought about a radical Christian awakening in the extra-large family of Chief Odo. In the past four years, there had been a simmering misunderstanding between the pastors and their father regarding his herbal practice.
The pastors were said to be mounting heavy pressure on him to repent and turn to Jesus, a demand the herbalist spurned. Odo, said to have lost one of his wives last February, had arranged for the burial programme, which his pastor’s sons rejected and rather organized a prayer programme for her burial, triggering confusion in the family.

I just want to die-Says Deacon who raped 7 year old (Photo)

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a deacon of Jesus Saves Church, a Lagos Pentecostal church, Obinna Aneke, for allegedly defiling a seven-year-old girl, Ngozi (pseudonym).
Aneke, 44, was alleged to have slept with the victim six different times in his apartment on James Esu Street, in the Bariga area of the state.
PUNCH Metro gathered that the Udi, Enugu State indigene, and the victim’s parents were friends.
Ngozi’s mother, a food vendor, was said to have reached an agreement with Aneke to be leaving her two daughters with him pending their resumption time at school at 7.45am.
This was because she always left the house for her trade at 6am, while her husband, a security guard, also left for his place of work the same time.
It was learnt that one of Aneke’s three daughters attended the same school with Ngozi and her younger sister, which made the arrangement to work.
While Aneke’s wife, a trader, who equally left the house early for her shop was away, the suspect was alone with all the children as they prepared for school.
A police source at the command headquarters’ gender office explained that the suspect started using the opportunity to allegedly defile Ngozi.
He said,
“The girl’s mother had been good to him in the past. There was a time he didn’t have a job and it was the woman who fed his four children.
“So, since he had had his own job, the woman thought he would reciprocate by assisting her family to get her two daughters to school, along with one of his three daughters attending the same school.
“Unfortunately, the man took advantage of the seven-year-old. He would undress her and insert his manhood in her private parts. When he could not penetrate, he would apply his spittle to make it easier.”

He explained that the act went on till last Tuesday when he again raped the victim and afterwards threatened her not to tell anybody and if she did, he would kill her.
It was learnt that the girl opened up to her parents.
The matter was subsequently reported to policemen at the Bariga Police Division and the suspect was arrested.
It was learnt that the victim was taken to the Mirabel Centre, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, where a test allegedly confirmed that there was a penetration.
The matter was subsequently transferred to the Gender Office, Lagos State Police Command, Ikeja.
The suspect, however, denied raping Ngozi, saying he only attempted to defile her once.
He said when he could not penetrate, he suspended the action.
He said,
“This girl was taught to lie against me. I only attempted to have sex with her once and that was the day she told her parents.
“I didn’t even remove her pants. On that day, I shifted her pants sideways and wanted to penetrate, but when I saw it was not possible, I left her and ejaculated outside her private parts.
“I am a leader in my church and I don’t want to bring my church into this mess. Even before anybody condemned me, I have already condemned myself and I wish I was not born. I was influenced by evil forces to do this.
“I just want to beg for forgiveness from all those I have offended through this action and I just want to die.”
It was learnt that the Lagos State Government had already taken custody of the victim at the Heritage Home, in the Anthony area of the state.

Meet 19 years old, Nigerian Super Model and Actress Namia Roberts (Must See Photos)

VL: Hello Namia Roberts
Hi, thanks for having me

VL: Who is Namia Roberts?
I am a 19years student, model and actress, I was born and raised in Nigeria along side 3 siblings. I’m currently rounding up my university education in London. And I like to describe myself as an all round entertainer.

VL: How did you discover your talent and what inspired you?
Everything came naturally to me. For modelling, i have always loved taking pictures and posing since I can remember, growing up my relatives used to call me model as a nick name. I remember always watching the delta soap advert and praying I could do that one day. So when I was 13 I took a trip to New York with my family and everyone kept telling me I should be a model, that I have the body for it and it was great because it was coming from total strangers, I even had a woman ask me to model for her but my mum declined. And that was what fuelled my passion for modelling.
IMG_0889
VL: And Acting?
Acting was quite similar, I used to force my sister to play drama with me as a child. I always watched Genevieve and Oge Okoye movies growing up and even though I didn’t understand the concept of acting fully, or that you even got paid for it, I knew I wanted to do that.
VL: What have you been up to?
Right now, I’m working on my website, I am about to relaunch it. And I am also shooting a couple of films, my first film project so I’m very excited!

VL: As a model what where the major challenges you faced when you started and how did your overcome those challenges?
Uhm, I am really shy! So when I first started modelling I was really shy infront of the camera and my pictures never looked natural, you could tell I was forcing it. So I had to work on that. Also finding the right agency was a hassle for me because I’m very picky and since I didn’t have any guidance I wanted to make sure I was picking the best agency that would represent me properly in the long run.
IMG_0888
VL How did the breakthrough come?
I have been modelling professional since 2012, but I got my big break in 2015, after I modelled for a London based stylist. The pictures went…viral? would I say? and my phone hasn’t stopped ringing ever since. For acting I don’t think I’ve had my break through yet.

VL: Tell us something that the media doesn’t know about you up until now?
I am introvert. I’d rather stay home and read a book or watch TV than go out any day.

VL: What is your ideal definition of fashion?
To me fashion is a way to express yourself with clothes. A persons style can tell you a lot about them before you even speak to them.

VL: List Your favourite fashion designers
My favourite designer of all time is Louis Vuitton because it’s simply timeless. I also love Alice and Olivia, Oscar De La Renta, Hermes, Victoria Beckham, Salvatore Ferragamo and kurt Geiger.
VL: Who is your fashion icon?
Coco Chanel and myself

VL: How would you describe your personal style?
I have a very preppy and classy style. I am very girly so heels and bags are my favourite accessories.

VL: What is your philosophy towards life?
My philosophy towards life is you have to fall seven times to get up eight times. I believe whatever is yours will always be yours and whatever isn’t will never be yours. And the harder you work the luckier you get, so no matter what life throws at you, you should always keep your head up and never give up.

VL: Who are the kind of people that influences you?
I am influenced by young go getters like myself. I love when people push through boundaries and succeed. I don’t believe in being satisfied with what people think you should be satisfied with. I mean who says the sky is the limit when they are foot prints on the moon right?

VL: How do you make your daily decisions?
First, I pray. And I have learnt to always follow my heart. I listen to people’s criticism and opinions but I always make sure I’m making my decisions based on what I want and what’s best for me.
IMG_0887
VL: How do you manage to stay focus in achieving your goals?
I always try to remember why I started doing this in the first place, which is because I love it and it makes me happy. So I never want to lose sight of this happiness. Also I know what I can achieve if I stay focused on my goals, and I don’t want to mess my future up for any reason.
VL: What are your future plans?

First, I plan to finish school and then go into acting full time. I also plan to have my film production company and to help build the Nollywood industry, because Nollywood is where it all began for me and I hope to be able to inspire some little girl to chase her dreams the way it inspired me to chase mine.
VL: Final Note

Always stay true to yourself. Remember your values and never lose sight of your goal.
VL: It was nice having you namia roberts

It was lovely being here, Thank you for having me again.

“P-square Split: Why Blame The Wives?”

Okoye-wives
I have been following the “developing” story of the feud among the Okoye singing and dancing twins, P-Square, and their older brother Jude, but not with keen interest.

The reason is because musicians (performing artistes, generally) by their nature, are given to squabbles, which are, sometimes, orchestrated to attract attention. Of course, many of the fights are real and often lead to splits, legal actions and even deaths, in extreme cases. Needless recounting some of them as we have a surfeit of such well-known fights locally and internationally.

So, why am I on about the P-Square fight, which, according to latest news, has led to the split of the twins? Among the reasons being adduced for their disagreement and eventual split is the role of the women in their lives. Interestingly, I know Lola, Peter’s wife, having worked with her in V-mobile, now Airtel. Even so, I cannot say what her role has been in the whole saga and I don’t want to personalize the issues, but I want to dismiss the insinuation that the bickering among the erstwhile “tight” is a result of the influence of their wives.

Let me start by saying that a family means man, wife (wives) and children. Any other person, including siblings, parents, cousins, aunties, uncles, nephews and nieces are part of the extended family. The moment a man marries, the definition of “family” must change otherwise there will be trouble. Let me put it on record immediately that I am NOT advocating total abandonment of the extended family, but that must come only after the immediate family. So, if you, a man, used to consult your mom or dad or brother or sister or uncle or auntie before taking a decision, your wife becomes your primary source of advice as soon as you get married. This is a reality most young men do not face until they start facing problems.

According to the Holy Bible in Mathew 19:46. Jesus said: “Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE. FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH ‘? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.”

Under normal circumstances, this quote wouldn’t require any explanation or interpretation but the extended family system practiced in Africa, especially in Nigeria and particularly the kind we have in the South East, has tended to undermine this crucial Biblical injunction. And this is one reason some people, in hasty generalization, have concluded that the Okoyes are being manipulated by their wives and as such have lost the “anointing” of carrying on together.

Now, much as I do not have any evidence to the contrary, I wager that the men rather than their wives are architects of their current conditions. Primary among my reasons for saying so is that if indeed their feud is engineered by their wives or one of the wives, then they have failed in managing their wives. Any man who cannot control his wife’s excesses and vice versa is not serious.

Secondly, any brother who doesn’t recognize his brother’s wife and her important place in his life is foolish. Thirdly, any brothers who do not pre-empt the influence of their wives even before they marry and plan for such an eventuality are not wise. Fourthly, how much acculturation do men give their wives when they are bringing them into a strongly-knit family, if there’s anything so called. Fifthly, and this is for those who erroneously believe that because they are twins, Peter and Paul are not supposed to fight, the fact of blood relationship doesn’t obliterate the fact of individual differences.
The last point is at the core of my submission. As siblings grow and acquire experience (socialization) they begin to manifest their differences. Even identical twins. Even Siamese twins! This is even more so when they get married and form their own families and begin to deal with other dynamics of life and living. So, as we say in Mbaise, if the music changes, the dance steps must also change. If you used to barge into your brother’s bedroom before, you must knock and wait to be admitted, after he gets married. It could be as simple as that!

Unfortunately, most guys prefer to play the ostrich with regards to their change in status and especially with regard the consequences-until trouble starts. And even when trouble does start, they pretend there’s no trouble and avoid confronting it until it snowballs into a crisis, like we are currently witnessing with P-Square. Perhaps, a stitch in time could have saved nine.

So, I posit that the importance attached to extended families is exaggerated. While it is not a bad idea in the strict sense of the word, it has the potential to cause rifts, divisions and wars. By the way, who hasn’t heard about sibling rivalry? In most cases, it starts even without spouses-as kids and teenagers. It’s just there. Vicious, at times. Unforgiving. Never-ending. And as soon as the spouses arrive, they are so easily and unjustifiably made into scapegoats.
Gentlemen, while I urge prayers and wish divine intervention in the sustainable existence of family ties, a lot depends on the man to protect his wife and at the same time safeguard the cohesion of the extended family. In the face of a choice, I’d rather keep my wife and children (my immediate family) than hang self-destructively on the other one.

So, in the case of Peter and Paul Okoye, if they have to split to make progress and avoid uglier consequences, let them split. After all, one mother can birth but not one god (chi) creates. It might as well be that the individual differences which Peter and Paul have successfully masked over the years can no longer be hidden. Let’s not rush to blame the wives, if we don’t have compelling evidence other than our African tendency to blame the women for every family feud.

By the way, I can’t verify an insider gossip that this imbroglio has nothing to do with the women, but mostly with one of the twins, who’s a lavish spender and more extroverted. Jude being the older brother and Manager, of course, wanted to control him but Peter won’t have it and wanted him fired. Paul won’t have that, and so they came to this sorry pass.

NB: Notice that I kept using man and wife. That is because I am strongly of the view and inclination that marriage is (and has to be) between a man and a woman, male and female-as God ordained it. However, I’m pro-choice, which means, I won’t bother with any choices you have decided to make in the matter, so long as they do not affect me directly. Even my male dogs know so.

Former Governor Peter Obi Plunges Into P-Square’s Family Drama | Set To Reconcile The Twins

P-Square-650x400
Just like one of Africa’s richest billionaires, Aliko Dangote did for music sensations, Olamide and Don Jazzy, former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi is reportedly set to meet and reconcile the P-Square brothers whose messy family drama has drawn worldwide attention.

According to Daily Post, a source close to the politician said he is deeply disappointed with the Okoyes, and he has contacted the brothers separately.
Peter Obi
The source said:
“There’s still hope,” “Chief Obi was highly disappointed when the news of their breakup got to him. He called both of them separately, including Jude, not to allow outsiders come between them. He reminded them of the old African adage that says, blood is thicker than water.”
The source confirmed that the parties will be meeting in Abuja this week.

EXPOSED!! Checkout These New Photos Of New Ife Olori With Her Lebanese Husband Whom She Is Still Legally Married To.

Wuraola Saga3
Almost a week ago, just before the Ooni of Ife got married to his new bride, Wuraola Zynab Otiti, an unknown Zainab wrote an open letter alleging that she was still married to her ex-husband amongst other things, but it was assumed by many it was just the rantings of a jealous frenemy.

Read the letter in case you missed it

It appears now that there may be some iota of truth in Zainab’s open letter. New photos of her with her husband Elie has emerged online.
Abuja sources close to the situation who pleaded anonymity told Moji Delano Blog that Elie is her husband whom she has kids with.

They allege that Wura milked Elie-an expatriate with Sageto, an Abuja based company dry financially, so much so that he is still trying to recover from the loss.
Elie allegedly kept giving her company money, and she made sure to corner major contracts from Sageto for her brothers and relatives.

As per her marriage to the Ooni, Moji was told she was one of his girlfriends and he knew her for a little over two weeks before he decided to marry her.
It is said that the names of the Ooni’s girl friends were dropped and the oracle choose Wura even though he had known her for just a short period of time.

Nigerian Copyright Commission Raids Alaba Boys and Their Market..

Read Press Statement from NIGERIAN COPYRIGHT COMMISSION and Photos Below:
DSC_5242 (Large)
In line with the commission’s on-going fight against piracy and intellectual property theft, the Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC) carried out an anti-piracy raid at Alaba International Market in Lagos on Saturday, 12th March, 2016.
The raid followed a complaint by Mr. Gabriel Okoye (Gabosky), who alleged that a cinematography work titled “Invasion 1897” which was produced by Mr. Lancelot Imasuen in which he (Gabosky) has the sole rights to marketing and distribution has been infringed.
Facts before the Commission showed that the movie was yet to be released for sales. It is presently showing at the cinemas in Nigeria. One Mr. Eze Obasi, a trader in Alaba International Market, started reproducing and redistributing the film for sale. He was thereafter arrested by the police and transferred to the Commission for further investigation.
In the process of the investigation, it was revealed that there were other pirates who were engaged not only in the illegal reproduction of the named movie but generally in the racket of pirating copyright works in Alaba International Market. On the 12th day of March, 2016, the Nigerian Copyright Commission as part of its anti-piracy operations stormed Alaba International Market, Ojo to conduct a search of the identified shops used by the suspects to carry out their racket. During the operations we discovered different pirated cinematography works, and duplicating machines that were used to illegally reproduce the works of several right owners.
Amongst the illegally reproduced cinematography works recovered from the shops includes, Invasion 1897, Phone Swap, The Wrong Selfie, Honeymoon Hotel, Breaking Ranks, Weekend Getaway, Oyenusi (Pt. 1 & 2), Prince Barmah, Contract, A Certain Night, Lima (Pt. 1 – 2), Alayo (Pt. 1, 2, & 3), Olosa (Pt. 1, 2, & 3), Irawo Osan.
