"Please don't do it. I did it and I have so much regret.. it's not worth it." Nigerian makeup artist advise against skin bleaching

"Please don
Nigerian makeup artist, Tennycoco has advised against skin bleaching stating that she did it and that she regrets it so much.
She shared side by side photos of herself from when she was bleaching and now that she has returned to her normal dark skin colour on her IG page and wrote;
My Road to Melanin
At the age of 19, I started lightening my skin..... By the time I was 20, I had become a heavy Skin bleacher... at the time it felt almost normal, I felt like I looked more attractive..... it became an addiction, I just couldn't stop. I craved so much to be lighter.. I felt being black wasn't beautiful enough. What a stupid way to have thought... I guess the society we live in played a little role in my decision to bleach my skin... coupled with being very Naive at that age. It's widely perceived that the lighter you are, the more beautiful you look. To be honest I always knew it was a bad thing... I mean, I had seen loads of people with ridiculously damaged skin courtesy the effects of bleaching but I was just so deep into it... like I said it's actually an addiction.
As my 25th birthday started approaching I started to do a lot of Soul searching, a lot of self evaluation... concerning every area of my life and I finally started to see the light... to see how crazy I had been all these years... how crazy it was for me to have believed that my black skin wasn't beautiful, to have allowed myself to feel inadequate or to try and tell God ' how you created me isn't good enough' what a silly, crazy way to have lived. Today I'm more than grateful that I finally saw the light. Black is beautiful! So beautiful! Never have I ever felt as beautiful and as at peace with my skin tone as I do now... Please Love your skin/Yourself the way God has made you.... you are beautiful, you are enough.

Time will always tell... imagine how I would look 10-15 years from now if I had continued to bleach my skin. Please don't do it... I did it and I Had/ have so much Regret... it's not worth it. You are beautiful just as you are.
I get a lot of messages asking me, how I was able to transition my skin back... I will be sharing all the tips soon enough.
Thank you to everyone who helped me get through this...... the Amount of support I have received is enormous... Thank you.

I caught my wife sleeping with her boss

A New Jersey florist using the “Find My iPhone” app to track down a lost gadget stumbled into a prickly situation — his naked wife in bed with her boss.
And now, the cuckolded hubby is facing up to 15 years in prison for his snooping.
“I feel like it’s unjust what they’re doing to me,” Sean Donis, 37, lamented to The Post. “It’s like I’m being punished twice.”
The Clifton man used his cellphone to record two brief videos of the hot-and-heavy session when he confronted his wife and her lover more than a year ago.
He broke down crying when he shared them with The Post.
The first, a seven-second clip, shows Nancy Donis going at it with Albert Lopez in the dimly lit master bedroom of his Rockland County, NY, home on April 15, 2016.
As Sean takes in the seamy spectacle, he exclaims, “Wow!” and Nancy hops off her lover before Sean drops his phone in shock.

The next video, 35 seconds long, shows Nancy and Lopez covering up as Sean berates his wife.
“All on video! All on video! . . . I can’t believe you, Nancy. I can’t believe you,” Sean says.
“Stop. Please, stop. Stop. OK, I get it. I get it. Stop,” she pleads.

Lopez angrily orders him out of the house and the phone gets jostled during an apparent struggle before Sean says, “Don’t worry, I’m leaving,” and the video ends.
Earlier that day, Nancy asked her husband to watch their son, now 5, so she could go to dinner with friends in Elizabeth, NJ, according to Sean.
At one point during the evening, he noticed the boy’s iPad was missing and activated the “Find My iPhone” app.

The software showed the device traveling toward Rockland, Sean said, stirring fears he had been harboring about Nancy, who at the time worked with Lopez in the billing department at an orthopedics office in Clifton.

“She would hide her phone. I’d touch the phone — she would get very nervous and say, ‘No, don’t touch my phone.’ She’d go to work looking extra pretty. And she lost a lot of weight also,” he recalled.
Sean had his mother watch the boy while he got in his car and followed the signal to Pomona. There, he found Nancy’s Ford Edge parked outside the sprawling home Lopez, 58, owns on a quiet, tree-lined cul-de-sac.

The front door was unlocked, Sean said, so he walked in and headed upstairs, where “I saw what I saw” and “screamed a little bit.”

Nancy, 38, subsequently filed for divorce and her six-year marriage to Sean was dissolved in February, court records show.

But Sean got a July 20 letter informing him a Rockland grand jury had indicted him on charges of felony burglary and unlawful surveillance.

He pleaded not guilty last month and is due back in court on Sept. 20.
Defense lawyer Howard Greenberg predicted Sean would be fully exonerated.
“He commits a trespass that in a sane jurisdiction is a violation and not a crime, and he uncovers the greater evil of his wife screwing some stranger,” Greenberg said. “No jury is going to convict this man of anything, let alone a felony.”

Lopez said he wasn’t “interested in discussing the story” beyond claiming that Sean “keeps harassing” him over the incident.

Update: Atiku Abubakar's son remanded for contempt of court order over custody battle with his Ex-wife

Update: Atiku Abubakar
A Magistrate Court sitting in the Tinubu area of Lagos on Wednesday remanded Aminu Abubakar, the son of a former Vice President, Abubakar Atiku in the transit cell for disobeying a court order.
Magistrate Kikelomo Ayeye ordered the remand for an alleged disobedience of a court order directing him to produce his son, seven-year-old Amir Atiku in court today (Wednesday).

Following the proceedings in a case brought by Aminu Atiku’s estranged wife, Ms. Bolori, the court had made the order for the emergency evacuation and protection of the child pending the hearing of the case today.

At the case hearing,  Aminu’s lawyer informed the magistrate that the parties were making plans to settle the matter out of court. But the counsel to his estranged wife, Ethel Okoh, denied knowledge of an out-of-court settlement.
Magistrate Ayeye found Aminu Atiku guilty for contempt of the court order made on October 11 and ordered that he should be remanded at the transit cell within the court premises pending when he could produce the boy in court.
Recall that LIB exclusively covered and reported the clash between Aminu his ex-wife, Miss Ummi Bukar Bolori as he got into a brawl with her at their daughter's school in Parkview estate over the custody of their two children, Amirah, 8, and Aminu Atiku, 7, last Thursday. (Watch the video and see photos here)

The estranged couple who got married in Borno State in 2007, enjoyed a five-year marriage before their union was dissolved by a Sharia Court in Maiduguri in 2011.

Following their separation and battle over their children, on 11th of October 2017, Miss Bolori secured a court injunction to take custody of their children upon reports that her kids who have been with their father, were lacking motherly care.

The court document also revealed that their 8-year-old daughter who is now with Miss Bolori sent numerous text messages to her that she wasn't happy at her father's home and wanted to be with her.

Kenya top election official resigns and flee to US amid death threats

Kenya top election official resigns and flee to US amid death threatsRoselyn Akombe, a senior member of Kenya's electoral commission (IEBC) has resigned from her position and fled to the US amid death threats ahead of next week's presidential election re-run.
This comes a week after opposition leader Raila Odinga pulled out of the presidential election re-run after the Supreme Court annulled the result of the original 8 August poll, when current President Uhuru Kenyatta was declared winner, after finding irregularities and illegalities.

Speaking to BBC Newsday interview from New York, Ms.Akombe recalled the murder of the election commission's IT head, Chris Msando, before the August poll.

"You'll be suicidal to think that nothing will happen to you.I have never felt the kind of fear that I felt in my own country," Ms Akombe told the BBC.

According to her, the IEBC was under political "siege", unable to reach consensus or take any decisions.

Ms. Akombe said she left the IEBC because "the commission in its current state can surely not guarantee a credible election".

‘There is a very high likelihood that the mistakes that some of the presiding officers made during the last election will be repeated," she told the BBC.

She said IEBC members had been voting along partisan lines, without discussing different issues on merit and that commissioners and other IEBC personnel were facing intimidation by political actors and protesters.

Roselyn added that the death threats were anonymous threats, and she had been put under pressure to resign.

She said she did not "feel safe enough to be able to go home" in the foreseeable future.
IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati in a statement said he regretted Ms. Akombe's decision to quit and warned Kenya's political leaders not to "interfere with the process".
