Daniel Bags Chieftaincy Title of Asoju Oba of Ijesaland.





In consideration of his exemplary philanthropic acts, immense contributions to
community development and overall empowerment of the citizenry, former Governor of Ogun State and Chairman/CEO Kresta Laurel Limited, Otunba (Engr.) Gbenga Daniel has been bestowed with the chieftaincy title of Asoju Oba of Ijesaland by His Royal Majesty, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran II, the Owa Obokun and Paramount 


Ruler of Ijesaland as part of activities marking the monarch’s 80th birthday anniversary.

The installation ceremony takes place on Thursday, 26th of October, 2017 at Okemese,
Adimula Palace, Ilesa by 12 noon. 



In response to the letter of notification of his selection as the Asoju Oba of the ancient
Kingdom, Otunba Daniel thanked the royal father, palace chiefs and the good people of
Ijesaland for the great honour which he considered a challenge to be closer to the
kingdom and also contribute towards its continual development.



On behalf of his family, the former Governor, who is a top contender in the race for the
national chairmanship of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) extended his sincere
appreciation for the unique gesture and pray Almighty God to endow Oba Aromolaran
with divine wisdom to lead his people and let his reign be marked by prosperity,
tremendous development, progress, peace and tranquility.
