Tiwa Savage And Saka Register Subscribers At MTN’s Mega Registration Centres

Pop diva, Tiwa Savage and popular comic act, AfeezOyetoro aka Saka were both celebrity attendants at the new MTN mega registration centres in Lagos and Ibadan yesterday. Guided by the national interest objectives of the SIM registration exercise, MTN continues to make concerted efforts to ensure that customers’ details meet specific requirements while providing additional facilities for their comfort. 

 


The popular acts made surprise visits to the centres to encourage subscribers on the MTN network to register their mobile SIM cards in line with NCC’s directive.
In Ibadan, Saka in his usual comic mood enlivened a surprised and hitherto weary crowd as he made his way around the large registration points in Adamasingba stadium.
His presence was greeted with tumultuous cheers. Saka had time to take photos with his fans and also gave gift items to some lucky subscribers.
The mood was not different in Lagos either as Tiwa Savage engaged subscribers one-on-one in the SIM registration exercise. She equally enjoined the subscribers to be patient and assured them of MTN’s commitment to the process as directed by the NCC.
More subscribers at the centres are set to be excited as the MTN ambassadors will take turns at each of the Mega registration centres nationwide, making the process as seamless as possible. The ambassadors include; Don Jazzy,Tiwa Savage,Davido, Harrysong, Iyanya, Kcee. Others includeNollywood stars such as; Osuofia, Saka, AdamuZango, Shehu Hassan, and NafisatAbdullahi.
In a bid to ensure a conducive atmosphere for subscribers and ensure a seamless process, MTN revamped the existing registration centres and introduced the mega registration centres nationwide with adequate workforce, creating employment opportunity for the youths.
For ease of access, some of the mega centres are located in Lagos-Oshodi, Festac, Ikeja, Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Lekki and Ipaja, Alimosho. Others are located in Enugu, Aba, Owerri, Port-Harcourt, Warri, Calabar, Kano, Katsina, Jos, Bauchi, Abuja, and Kaduna. The mega centres are designed to reduce the queues and facilitate a seamless registration process.
Subscribers who register their lines in the ongoing exercise are rewarded with bonus airtime ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 to call their loved ones.
