What sparked an argument between top actresses last week on social media?
That’s the question everyone is asking.
Trouble began after Chioma Apkotha, started another round of controversy in Nigerian entertainment when she took to social media in the early hours of Thursday, January 28, and posted a picture which had actresses Uche Jombo , Blessing Egbe, Ufuoma Mc Dermott and Omoni Oboli with the caption ‘Sometimes… sisters aren’t REALLY sisters. “
The action sparked a chain of reactions, beginning with Omoni Oboli’s
posting: “@Omakpotha ok…. what’s this all about? Mind your business.
Why are you posting my picture?
#TooEarlyInTheYear.” Blessing Effiom Egbe quickly
picked up the baton as she posted:”@ Omakpoth and you know, this is a way of announcing your interest? You don fail be that!”
In another post she said: “@ Chiomaakpotha sometimes sisters that ain’t REALY sisters become sisters for a reason.
#mindurbusiness#continue stayinginyourlane# #hiss.”
Reacting, Uche Jombo Rodrigue, also posted: “Shaking my head to all these rubbish I’m seeing @ ufuomamcDermott@ Omonioboli @blessingegbe.”
Omoni couldn’t hold back as she posted again:”Too much going on in 2016 to be
involved in pettiness!
#And NobodyGotTime-ForThat.” Uche followed it up with another message: “@
Chiomakpotha No words!
You have my number don’t let the devil use you.”
Meanwhile, obviously not to be left out of the fray, Ufuoma McDermott exclaimed: “REALLY… what
a way to mind your business.
Too early in the year for this please.”
However, despite their reactions, Chioma, who started it all did not let the cat out of the bag by revealing the reason for her action. But, one thing is certain, these actresses surely have an axe to grind with each other!
