A married couple managed to escape prosecution after they
were caught up in Iran's crackdown on models posting 'un-Islamic' photos
online. Professional MUA/model Elnaz Golrokh and her model husband, Hamid Fadaei
fled the Islamic Republic in January when they were released on bail
after the sweeping targeting of people as part of something called 'Spider II'
operations.
A total of 170 people identified in the operation include
58 models, 59 photographers and makeup artists. Most of the Instagram
and Facebook profiles of the models targeted have also been taken
offline. Elnaz & Hamid were however able to successfully flee and
now live in Dubai.
