Katie had filed high court papers alleging the Strictly star and his representatives were responsible for a smear campaign against her.
Defendants in the suit include former manager Claire Powell, management company Can Associates and Peter.
But at the Royal Courts of Justice today before Mr Justice Dingemans, a settlement was agreed to prevent the case, which was set to happen on January 25, from happening.
