Darey while speaking on Rubbin Minds on Channels TV on Sunday, said his wife was actually the one who came up with the idea for the show.
He said: “My wife came up with the ‘Love Like A Movie’ idea”
The maiden edition, about 3 years ago was highly commended due to its world class production.
However, controversy followed after its special guest, Kim Kardashian-West who was pregnant at the time, reportedly jetted out of Nigeria after the red-carpet and a brief appearance on stage.
Darey however, revealed that in spite of that episode and the controversy that ensued, the reality star was actually very nice.
He said: “Kim was one of the nicest to talk to.”
The ‘Naked’ singer also added that the show is heavily gulps funds.
“Love Like A Movie gulps a lot of money, and sponsorship isn’t as big as it should be in this clime.” Darey revealed
The 3rd edition of Love Like A Movie would be headlined by international singer, Ciara.
