These aren't the best of times for the Russian economy what with oil
selling at rock bottom prices but residents of Moscow just don't care.
Muscovites queued for up to three days in their quest to be proud owners
of a pair of Yeezy sneakers. Human traffic was so congested police had
to be called in to bring things under control and clear the way for
vehicular traffic.
The popular shoes were available in only three stores in all of Moscow
for between £155 to £175. Some of the buyers admitted they were making
the purchase in order to make a crazy profit selling at more than double
the retail price, with this much demand, I'll say they're in business.
