Jennifer, who starred with Chris on the 2016 hit film Passengers, was rumored to have hooked up with the actor while shooting the sci-fi film, but the pair vehemently denied.
His wife, Anna in an interview in December 2016, opened up about how the rumors affected her.
She called the rumours “devastating” and said: “For us, it was like, 'What the heck.' “This has been blindsiding to us. We have an incredible relationship. But it has been weirdly stinging.”
After the couple who have a son together confirmed their separation on Facebook on Sunday, angry fans have been poking fingers at Jennifer Lawrence who they think could be responsible for the split.
