1. Muna Obiekwe
He was a nollywood veteran actor,he was one of the most talented
actors in the industry. Born On January 18, 2015, he died from kidney
disease after he could not afford the fee his hospital was demanding.
He is survived by wife and children.
2. Dede One Day
The Nollywood actor and prince of comedy’s death came as a shock to nigerians and the entertainment industry at large.
He died in the early hours of monday december 14 after performing at an event.
According to The nation reports, he anchored a program for one Mr Charles Esonu in Aba.
He left there for Ugwunagbo for another event he was contracted to anchor, but he couldn’t conclude the event.
He was rushed to the hospital due to blood pressure issues,he died later that night.
3. Ozor Akubueze
The nigerian famous veteran actor died on friday july 10 in enugu state,following his long time battle with pancreas disease.
He underwent surgery last year which was sponsored by AGN.he was in
his seventies,and featured in almost 60% of the movies shot in enugu.
4. Hid awolowo
We all know the late chief obafemi awolowo who played a key role in Nigeria’s independence movement.
Well, he is married to Hannah Idowu dideolu awolowo, HID as fondly
called. She died by 3:15 on September 19 two months to her 100th
birthday.
She will forever be missed.
5. Prince Abubakar Audu
The two time kogi state governor and who was as of the time of his
death the governorship candidate of the All progressive congress, APC,
was confirmed dead after complaints of stomach ache, Shortly after
voting and returning home in Ogbonicha, ofu.
He was said to have been vomiting blood the previous day being friday.
He vomitted blood on Saturday after returning from the polling unit, became unconscious and died around 5.a.m on Sunday.
6. Adebowale Adefuye
Before his death, he was the Nigerian ambassador to the United
states. Prof. Adebowale Ibidapo Adefuye died on thursday august 27 2015
after suffering a seizure while being driven by his chauffeur in
Washington D.C., the U.S. capital.
Mr. Adefuye was recalled to Nigeria after President Muhammadu Buhari was sworn in as President.
He was still waiting to hand over to a new ambassador when he suddenly died.
7. Diepreye alamieyeseigha
Before his death he was a former governor of bayelsa state, he was
63. Close family sources said Mr. Alamieyeseigha was diabetic and was
treated in Dubai, but recently returned to Port Harcourt.
He died of cardiac arrest at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching
Hospital, after slipping into coma two days ago and was placed on life
support. date of death: October 10, 2015.
8. Oba Okunade Sijuade [ooni of ife]
The late ruler who was born 1 January 1930 passed on in the wee hours
of Tuesday, July 28. He became the fiftieth traditional ruler in 1980,
taking the regnal name Olubuse II.
He died in a London hospital after he was rushed to the UK. died at the age of 85 after a brief illness.

The veteran nollywood actor passed away in Asaba, Delta State after suffering from stroke.
He was declared dead on Friday, May 1, 2015 by his son, Peter Bunor Jnr, …he said that his father’s death was caused by
“complications from the series of strokes he suffered over the past five years.
